When he's your prince charming and you're not his Cinderella

We all have crushes, be it on our best friend, on the playboy, on your seatmate or on people we don't know them personally and just happen to be attracted to them. We probably did try everything-- being extra cute, hoping he'd notice the minor changes, trying to get extra close, making a silly move and brushing your elbow against his. At the very same time, we also tried playing it cool, acting all strong and independent, afraid that we'd be too clingy and make him annoyed at us. We don't understand why he talks to other girls, laugh with other girl. Maybe we fell in love with the ideal him but not falling in love for who he is. Yea but so what? The way he can make our heart flutter by just smiling and that very second he caught us glancing at him made us grasping for air. Lovely smile, amazing eyes, cute nose, sleek jawline, addictive voice and a beautiful personality. Thanks for making us listen to stupid love songs, googling on how to get your crush to notice you, the butterflies, the laughter and the tears. What's amazing is that we can never hate him. Soon, we would realise that crying because of love turns out to also be a type of sweet pain. Before we go to bed, we'd think of him and waking up to the day with him on your mind as the very first thing. Talking to people has never been such a tough thing. Whenever the clock ticks 11:11, our only wish would be him and love. As time seeps away, the moving hourglass of love is almost ending. We start to lose faith and reasons to keep on fighting for what we feel. All that's left is that sad one-sided, unrequited love that's to be burned in memories for remembrance sake even if you don't want to. The passionate feelings are lost but you can never forget that he once meant the entire world to you.
